Corpus Christi Cathedral, Port Harcourt, has ended the 2019 Parish crusade tagged: “Break Camp and Advance”.
Rev. Fr. Andrew Obiam who anchored the 3-day crusade, called on the people to be heavy weight Christians. “Be mindful of your spiritual weight”, he said.
Fr. Obiam noted that many Christians were losing weight as a result of sin. “You must not be light weight, build your spiritual weight ahead of unforeseen battle”.
Speaking on “Forgiveness”, the priest observed that unforgiveness is a silent killer of prayer life.
He maintained that to break camp and advance, Christians must forgive those who trespassed against them.
Fr. Obiam on the final day reminded Christians of preferential blessings. “God has blessed us with all the spiritual blessings from the foundation of the world”.
He emphasized on spiritual transfer, blessing diverted and blessing changed and prayed God to locate the people with His divine blessings.
The Cathedral Administrator, Rev. Fr. Paul Okeregwu thanked God for a successful crusade and noted that there is no other camp except the camp of truth, justice, right conscience and the children of God.
He appreciated the speaker and parishioners for their active participation.
