Cynthia took Finian to Altar

Former Miss Cynthia Happiness Uzoma, on Saturday, May 4, 2019 took Mr. Finian Osarr Abang to the altar and were wedded as husband and wife.

The nuptial Mass held at Corpus Christi Cathedral, Port Harcourt was witnessed by their family members, friends and well-wishers.

In his homily at the holy Mass, Rev. Fr. Benjamin Emmanuel observed that marriage is one aspects of human life where humanity has the freedom to choose who to live the rest of their lives with.

He explained that marriage is a sacrament in the Catholic Church and only death could separate the couple. “In Catholic Church marriage is for better and for worse and not for better and for best”, he said.

Fr. Emmanuel enjoined the couple to make Jesus the centre of their marriage. “Have constant recourse to God and seek the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary”.

Mr. and Mrs. Finian Osarr Abang thanked God for making the day possible for their dreams to come to reality. They appreciated the priests, especially Very Rev. Msgr. Emmanuel Maru, friends and families for their support and blessings. “We are grateful to all of you for finding time to come and rejoice with us”, the couple.
